- I am the youth director of a great group of teenagers and college age young people who love God, love church, and love each other. We enjoy spending time with one another and always find a way to have a good time. Whether its just hanging out together, being at 7.25 (our youth service), or praising God in church, we always have great fun.

O man im so excited for HYC, im really hoping that Leslie will be able to go. I know she will have so much fun. That will be so awesome if she gets the Holy Ghost there!!!!!!!! I cant wait to see what goes on this year!!!!

I AM SOOOOOO EXCITED ABOUT HYC. I CANT WAIT TO SEE WHAT ALL IS GONNA HAPPEN THIS YEAR MAYBEY ON THE DAY WE GET HOME FROM HYC MY BIG BROTHERS AND THERE WIVES WILL BE HERE AND MAYBEY THE NEXT MORNIG THEY WILL COME CHURCH AND GET FILLED WTIH HOLYGHOST. WOULDNT THAT JUST ROCK? THAT WOULD BE LIKE THE COLLEST THING IN THE WORLD. I WOULD RIGHT THERE BESIDE THEM BALLING MY HEAD OFF WITH THEM. THAT WOULD BE SO AWSOME. love you to sis Mandy, ive been so excited because after every service, and it never fails, leslie always tells me "jessica, i feel it happening, i know im fixin to get the Holy Ghost, my life is changing drastically and every service counts." You all dont know how long ive been waiting and praying for this moment. I know right now shes my first but i know her testimony will win many young people from my school. Leslie has already been talking to people about how awesome the church is and how much fun she has. There is a girl that lives right down the road from leslie and she s going to come she just dont know when. For now i need everyone to pray for Leslie and my school, i feel God pushing me and i need all your prayers and support i can get! see yall in the morning

That's awesome 'bout Leslie Jess! It's sooo gonna happen soon and it'll be like...BANG!! I can't wait till HYC!!! Aside from the ama-za-zing (HAHA!!!) services, there are sooo many people to see that I haven't seen since June!! The memories we make at the Texas District gatherings always seem to last in my mind far beyond the function!!! Brother and Sister, but especially Sister Elms, I hope ya'll get to go to HYC!!! It's always so much fun and a great experience, not only with God, but with people you get to know!!!

Thanx Kat, im really glad that all you girls accepted Leslie when she came, if that will happen every time a young visitor comes its almost guaranteed they will stick around because what they see is a big family that loves each other and they see a youth group that will accept people the way they come, and of course ALL the FUN we have!!!!!!!!!!! I am enjoying all of the comments about church and God and the incredible things God is doing in our youth group! Thank you Kathy for welcoming us to HYC. I don't think we've ever been. I'd like to go this year and experience what ya'll do. Love you all! Keep on pushing for GREATER things to happen! Witnessing to Friends = SOULS! Bring on the young people of Wichita Falls. God has so much to offer them! Stay EXCITED about the work of God. Keep it glowing in your heart.

Ya'll have fun tonite at 7.25!!! No I am not skipping to go to the concert tonite, but i am sooo sick!!! I didn't go to school yesterday or today!!! I would drag myself up to the church, but I don't want everybody else to get sick!!! Jess is right we need to get a countdown for NAYC. We also need one for camp and Powernites!!!

I can't wait for HYC!!!! 12 more days to go!!! Maybe it's sounds a little over obsessive, but I already have all my clothes picked out, my service clothes, my trip there and back clothes, and of course, my playing around clothes!!! I feel that again God has something special for our youth group at HYC, so for those that read the blog and the comments, open up to God, don't let anything hold u back, decide that you are letting God take the reins and have control, and this youth group will see mighty, mighty things happen!!! Sister Mandy, no stink bombs or petroleum jelly this year!!!

WOW, young people church was awesome, i havent felt God like that in a long time and it was just a wonderful feeling, my cup is definitely filled to its capacity!!!!!! Young people listen, God is using us, even though it doesnt feel like it, he is. There are more souls like Leslie in our schools, dont wait for them to come to you, GO to them!!!!! We've got a city that is searching for what we have, our job is to show them that we have what they want!!!!!! Prayer, prayer, prayer changes things!!! We are the chosen generation, the church of tomorrow, we are the future!!!!!! Ya we may have to fight some battles but if God before us, who can be against us!!!!We have a hope, and oh what a day that will be when we get to see our Lord!!! Today has been a wonderful day and God has big big plans for this church, right now he is preparing us for rain, REVIVAL IS HERE!!!!!!!!! Lets worship God with all our hearts and be sensitive to his presence, i love you all very much and im proud of the progress we have made, we are movin up!!!!!!

hey everyone its me im still excited i just cant get over it and i told my mom again last night they just looked at me weird and i love im one of those weirdos now a my mom said and my brother was cursing alot last night and i asked to stop very nicely and he looked at me wird and asked if i was okay and i said yah i feel perfect and he said if u dont ever do that again ill be fine well i said thats not goin to happen and he just looked at and told my mom hey i think theres somthin wrong with leslie and i said no theres not im just high and she looked at me funny and then i said on jesus and thats when my dad looked up and looked at me really weird and i love it cause they have no clue and jessica is the biggest nerd ive ever saw in my life and also she a loser LoL

holy cow im starting to get annoyed with scrolling ALLLLLLLLLLLl the way down its just to far for me lol....well im way excited about Friday, I told a friend at work about powernight and so i invited her of course and she said she would give me an answer sometime betwn sunday night and tinight....sooooo.....this morning i got a text and the first thing i read said "good morning fellow merril gardens employee, i talked to another meriil gardens employeeand i got her to come join us on friday, we shall call her Scylla," Keri sent me that message and so you can say that ive, well pretty much have had an awesome week!!!!!!!! yall, i dont know about you but i feel and see revival happening!!!!! God is using us young people, stay sensitive and give him all your heart and i promise things are going to happen for you at work, at school, and at home, etc.... I love you all, see yall tonight!!!!

U talked to Adam!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH! I SOOOOOOOOO CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!! I know i've said that before, but today i think it really hit home!!! I was in first period and starting dazing off into space. I started thinking that there are only a few more days till I get to have fun with my youth group and get to see all my beloved friends. All of sudden, my heart lept for joy (seriously!!!) and it started beating fast!!!! Now I think truly am excited!!!! -Kat
Leslie, I couldn't put it on ur blog bcuz i know it won't let non-bloggers post comments, so here is my note of support. Leslie, I'm not so good in words if i can't see the person when I say it, but all I can say is hold on a little while longer, keep going with ur newfound faith, and God will there all along the way. Also remember that there are tons of others (myself) that love and respect you for who u are. You can't be anything else. I have thought this about several things, but in most cases u just can't change what it is. U have accept things the way they are. And I'm not saying accept the way u mom treats u, but accept that she needs Jesus, but don't tell her so. Pray about and if u need help, ask Sis. Mandy or Bro. Andrew. They are always there for u and evryone else in the youth group. Don't tell ur mom this either, but sooner or later she must accept u r different and want to live a different lifestyle now. And don't worry because if u r a true Christian, which I think u r becoming one and want to be, ur light will shine through to her and show her the way and that u truly are different. I know ur confused, but that is life and u can't change it. All I can tell u is to pray and to cling to God, your friend, and ur newfound faith and hope. Remember, he is always there for u in the time of trial and storm. He is always a faithful friend when others leave and forsake. Trust me and the Bible, when I say that although he may not seem like he is there, he never wavers from ur side. It may sound cliche, but go read the poem "Footprints." It talks about how God never leaves u! I love u and will call u later tonite!!! I'm praying and thinking about u!!!

My finger-it's ALIVE!!!! (Frankenstein! Sry If ya'll haven't noticed, i'm a TOTAL DRAMA QUEEN!!!!) Staci, I am oh so EXCITED!!! It's that excited feeling u get and all u wanna do is jump up and down and scream and then run around the room until u can't run anymore!!! This is the third year I've gone, but i don't think I've ever been this excited!!!! Maybe it has something to do with the countdown that says we have six, nearly five days left!!! I can't wait to see everybody!!! I even made a list of people I needed to see!!! Here it is - Of course Adam (duh! That was a given!), Patrick and Dustin Watts from Fort Worth, Ryan and Reed Graves from Iowa Park, of course Matt, Matteson, Catherine, Misharee from Ranger (i'm pretty sure those were a given too!), Kris, Kory, Hobbes and Luke from Comanche, Courtney Boone, K'ann Howard, Alicia Evans from Electra, Kevin and Tara from Iowa Park, Bro. Jonathan and Sis. Brenda, Matt and Misharee's mom, Nanette, and I'm debating whether I should talk to Joe or not after all this time has passed. So i think that i will keep myself occupied at HYC!!!
