Youth Outreach, May 19th

I hope all of you are getting fired up about the Section One Youth Outreach day coming next week. We are going to help Bro. Doug, Sis. Lori, Ayrian and Daniel canvas Burk with flyers and doorhangers about their church. We need everybody to be there. The more people we have, the more of Burk we can cover. Please be in prayer for this special outreach effort.

Why is the "Know the Future" section messed up??????????????????????????????????????
I have tried to fix it and it refuses to be fixed!!! I will now calmly stand up and hurl this laptop across the room.

I want to apologize profusely...

because I have been so busy and have been unable to post anything new to the youth blog in several days (ok...a week or two (three?). Well, however long it has been. I am trying to get back on track. I admit I have a problem. (Hi, my name is Andrew, and I have a problem.) I will do my best to keep the blog updated with plenty of new posts, new pics, and stupid ideas.

Goin' Back...

Ok, this is going back a couple of years. This is the ice skating trip to Grapevine Mills, Christmas of 2005. Some of you weren't even in the youth group at the time. Enjoy!!!

What a great HYC!!!

WOW!!! We had a wonderful time at HYC! I am excited about what God has accomplished in all of us. We really missed Sarah not going. She raised enough money for several people to go, and then ended up getting sick at the last minute.

Young people, keep the fire burning and the unity strong. Don't let discord be sown in any of your hearts. Stay close to God and to each other. We have a lot of momentum and we want to use to better the Kingdom of God. Keep praying, keep praising, keep dancing, keep reading God's Word. We are well on our way to great things.

I like the ideas some of you have posted about youth t-shirts. This is another "Give me your opinion" post. Let's have some ideas. Anything goes (must be appropriate). Ideas, ideas, ideas!!! Bring 'em on!

What to do?

Ok, so most of you, according to the poll, think we just need to update the youth room. Here's your chance to effect the outcome. What do you think we ought to do to update? What are your brilliant ideas? This is your youth room...so bring on the ideas!!!

Glad to be home...

Man, am I glad to be home. It was great to see all you young people at prayer. I know I didn't get to talk to all of you, but just seeing you there was a blessing. I am glad God is moving in our youth group, and it is exciting to see each of you dedicating more and more to God. Keep on praying and reading your Bible. Let God use you at school. Get recharged everytime you get a chance. LIFEalive is a revival youth group!!!

Anyone else who has retreat pictures, please get them to me. I want to thank Aimi for getting the ones I am using for the slideshow. Also, if you have any other pics of the young people, I would like to have them as well. I want to keep pictures rotating on our blog, but I don't have enough. All of you can help me out by getting me a cd of your youth pics.

Well, here it is, and I never thought the day would come. I am writing a blog. However, I must say, in my defense, that this is not for me personally. I started this blog as a help to LIFEalive. A place to find information about upcoming events, to discuss different issues that concern the youth group, to see pictures of LIFEalive in action, and to remember the fun times. So, I can justify my actions...a little. Hopefully, this will be a great place for all of our young people to check out what's happening with LIFEalive. So, "Welcome" to LIFEalive online!
